The First of a new Series

This is the first of a new series of ideas i've been working on this summer.
Portraits in Conte crayon pastels, collage, and ink using tesselations as a grid behind the images.
should be fun, i'm excited.
I didn't have enough lights when i was taking the picture, so i used a flash. It was the only accurate image i could get regarding the color and detail seen in the background.
if you want to e-mail me, my e-mail is
mariachristinecalderon@yahoo.com
thanks
