Welcome to my student work site. This first series is a series of medium paintings on old windows. The medium paintings were transferred from a shower wall and peeled off like dead skin and stuck onto these nice little windows you see before you. What is our body? How can we live in harmony? What control do we have? My body is very important to me, being someone who lives with an auto-immune disease. Trying to attempt to understand what my body chooses to do is a daily task which astonishes me. Our bodies choose to do as they will, and work in their on their own time and have a specific system for repairing itself free of our own will or choice.
so who are we in relation to our bodys?
are we even one in the same?
This series of images is 4 of six windows that are hanging in the entry way of Brandel Library on North Park University Campus
hung in October 2005 til present.
